    We have identified the cause of the error.

    This was due to timeout when the acme-server was querying the web-server to verify the challenge.

    Which might be caused by the web-server setup.

     

    However it was reported to the acme-client as a server-error.

    We are working to fix this.

    We have fixed some reported bugs.

    The ACME-server will report a connect error when it won’t be able to reach the server for challenge validation.

  • Hi, I'm having trouble creating a new credential.

    Currently I am using buypass go ssl and when I try to generate new authentication information using certbot I get a [RATE_LIMITED] error and it does not proceed.

    This symptom has been repeated for more than 2 weeks, and please let me know if authorization in pending authorizations state will be removed automatically after a certain period of time or if I need to do it manually.

      Sorry for late reply.

      It is possible to use the https://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc8555#section-7.5.2 authorization-deactivation feature to deactivate authorization. However, the support of the latter in clients is unclear. Also when the challenge turns into invalid state on some authorization, it should be possible to request new one.

       

      We have recently introduced a one-week sliding window for pending authorizations. So only pending authorizations during recent 7 days will be taken into account when checking the limit.
